The CCS partnered with renowned cardiovascular specialists and patient organizations including the Ted Rogers Centre for Heart Research, the CHFS, The Heart Hub, and Heart Life Foundation to launch a first-of-its-kind patient guide about heart failure (HF) medications.
This novel patient guide was developed with and for people who live with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF), emphasizing the important role of HF medications to extend and improve the quality of patients’ lives. It was developed using information from the 2021 CCS/CHFS HF Guidelines. The site includes a suite of tools, videos and infographics to help people learn more about medications and their care, and support conversations with their healthcare team.
