Trainee Review Programs (TRPs)

Through the work of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS) Trainee Committee, CCS trainees identified the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) examination preparation as a critical milestone in the transition from “school to work”. Hence the CCS/CCSA Canadian Cardiovascular Society Academy Trainee Review Programs (TRPs) were established.

Program Benefits

The TRPs provide trainees with realistic exposure to the examination process and offer an opportunity for feedback from faculty. It places their knowledge and exam writing skills to the test and provides them with an overview of all aspects of the exam. In addition, they have the opportunity to network with program faculty and fellow trainees from across Canada.
