The CCS will accredit educational programs for other physician organizations that adhere to Royal College’s accreditation standards and align with the CCS’ Quality CPD Checklist for Education Programs.
Physician organizations have the responsibility to ensure that the standards of accreditation are adhered to when developing educational programs and developing programs with industry supporters. NOTE: Please allow sufficient time for development as accreditation applications are due at a minimum eight weeks prior to advertisement of the program.
Follow these steps to seek accreditation as a physician organization:

|Step 2||CCS reviews "Education Program Letter of Proposal (for Physician Organizations)” and provides response in 7 business days.|
The physician organization develops program content and oversees program deliverables while ensuring to adhere to accreditation standards.
The physician organization submits an accreditation application to CCS upon completing program content.

|Step 4||CCS reviews application for Section 1 or 3 credits and provides response in 10 business days provided accreditation fees have been paid.|
Accreditation fees must be submitted along with the application form. Applications without accompanying fees will not be reviewed. Accreditation fees are non-refundable.
Physician Organization Accreditation Fees: $1,000 + HST
Note: The CCS charges an additional fee for expedited accreditation of less than four weeks.
Physician Organization Expedited Accreditation Charge: $500 + HST
Repeat fees for accredited events that repeat throughout the year will be subject to an administrative fee of $500 + HST for each repeat of the accredited program.
