Lipid screening is an important tool to assess an individual’s risk of developing atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD). The 2021 CCS Dyslipidemia Guidelines recommend screening of Total Cholesterol (TC), LDL-C, HDL-C, non-HDL-C, Triglycerides (TG) as well as once in a lifetime Lipoprotein(a) measurement and optional assessment of ApoB as part of a comprehensive risk assessment of ASCVD.

This webinar aims to improve health professionals’ knowledge of CCS Guideline-directed lipid screening and increase awareness of CCS Dyslipidemia tools and resources. Participants will engage in clinical scenarios, interactive discussion, and Q&A segments to facilitate the implementation of Guideline-directed lipid screening and the use of CCS tools and resources in their everyday practice.

Program Chairs: Dr. Anil Gupta and Dr. Grace Chua
Program Speakers: Dr. Iulia Iatan and Dr. Glen Pearson
