Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society™ (CCS).
Categories of Membership
Regular Members are specialists in cardiovascular health and diseases, or specialists who do not have a specialty qualification in a cardiovascular discipline but are recognized as having a major interest and time commitment to cardiovascular disease, or those with doctorates who are directly involved in cardiovascular teaching and research.
Members-in-Training are those individuals who are currently engaged in a formal Canadian cardiovascular-related training program, such as:
- Adult Cardiology
- Pediatric Cardiology
- Cardiac Surgery
- Trainees who are furthering their training in a cardiovascular subspecialty area (eg echocardiography, electrophysiology and interventional cardiology)
- Research Trainees at the PhD or Postdoctoral levels in cardiovascular sciences
Application requirements for Member-in-Training applicants:
- Name of Program Director
- No administrative fee

Annual membership dues
Membership dues for Regular and Associate memberships are invoiced on a calendar year. You will receive your renewal notice in January/February following formal approval of your application. Membership dues are subject to change.CCS Regular Members: $575.00 (plus applicable taxes based on residence)Membership Dues for Members-in-Training are complimentary as long as they are engaged in formal training.

Complete applications are reviewed three times per year. The deadlines are:
