CSCMRI regularly hosts workshops at the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress. We also organize teaching courses, and issue practice guidelines in collaboration with the Canadian Cardiovascular Society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the future, we plan to develop a series of webinars and establish a Research Award for scientific contributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Magnetic Resonance Imaging Webinar<\/h5>\n\n\n\n

What\u2019s Covered: <\/strong>This webinar discusses the practical, pragmatic key messages for MRI safety in patients with Cardiac Implanted Electronic Devices (CIED) and renal failure, including updated \/ new recommendations, values and preferences, and practical tips for
implementation. Practical approaches for what to do before and after MRI are reviewed, including evidence for safe use of MRI when CIEDs \/ pacemakers are present, contraindications, and clinical decision support tools for safe scanning and review use in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
