One common trait among many of our members is volunteerism. Between our Board of Directors; members on CCS standing committees and working groups; faculty for CPD webinars, Trainee Review Programs, and bootcamps; and other opportunities to get involved, hundreds of members take time out of their very busy schedules to volunteer with the CCS!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>April 14 to 20 is National Volunteer Week and on behalf of the entire team at the CCS, we offer a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated group of volunteers who offer up what little free time they have to contribute to the growth of our society and its members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you\u2019re looking for ways to become more involved, the following calls for volunteers are currently open:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/news\/apply-to-join-the-ccs-board-of-directors\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">CCS Board of Directors<\/mark><\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Open roles include Vice President (President-Elect) and Board Members for the Atlantic, Quebec, and Ontario regions. Please apply by May 6 (extended from April 29).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/news\/calling-all-ccs-members-volunteer-on-a-ccs-committee\/\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">CCS Standing Committees<\/mark><\/a>\n<ul>\n<li>Open roles include spots on the Guidelines, Membership Advocacy, and EDI committees, along with the SPC Annual Meeting Chair for 2025. Please apply by April 29.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you need more convincing, read (or re-read!)
