This week is a time to reflect on the impacts of our history, including the former residential school system, the sixties scoop, and numerous other policies that have negatively impacted First Nations, Inuit, and M\u00e9tis peoples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is a time to pause and reflect on our commitment at the CCS, alongside our members at health institutions and heart health teams, to advancing truth and reconciliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Please take some time to review the 94 Calls to Action developed in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission of Canada<\/a> and reflect specifically on your response to recommendations 18-24.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
