This is an opportunity to acknowledge excellence, dedication, and innovation by your colleagues and peers.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year&#8217;s awards include:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/ccs-achievement-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CCS Achievement Award<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/distinguished-teacher-mentor-award-formerly-known-as-distinguished-teacher-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Distinguished Teacher\/Mentor Award<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/dr-harold-n-segall-award-of-merit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Harold N. Segall Award of Merit<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/dr-robert-e-beamish-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Dr. Robert E. Beamish Award<\/a><em>&nbsp;\u2013 support by the Canadian Journal of Cardiology (CJC) \u2013 nominations to be submitted to Dr. Stanley Nattel, Editor-in-Chief, CJC at&nbsp;<\/em><a href=\"mailto:nominations@ccs.ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">nominations@ccs.ca<\/a><em>.<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/research-achievement-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Research Achievement Award<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/ccs-women-in-cardiovascular-medicine-science-mentorship-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CCS Women in Cardiovascular Medicine\/Science Mentorship Award<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li><a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/trainee-excellence-in-education-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Trainee Excellence in Education Award<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><li><strong>NEW in 2023<\/strong>:&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/exemplary-leadership-in-clinical-cardiovascular-medicine-and-surgery-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Exemplary Leadership in Clinical Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery Award<\/a>&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The CCS Recognition Awards Ceremony will be held during&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventscribe.net\/2023\/cardiocongress\/index.asp?launcher=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Vascular 2023<\/a>&nbsp;in Montreal in October.&nbsp;The date and time will be announced soon.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All awards information can be found on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/ccs-recognition-awards\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CCS website<\/a>.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deadline to submit nominations is&nbsp;<strong>April 24, 2023 at 12:00 (noon) EDT<\/strong>. We encourage you to nominate deserving individuals from across our diverse CCS Community.
