We now have a new French name!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why you ask? Our name in English &#8211; Canadian Cardiovascular Society &#8211; refers to the broad &#8216;cardiovascular community.&#8217; However, in French, it refers to the more specific area of cardiology &#8211; Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 canadienne de cardiologie. As we celebrated our 75 anniversary and refreshed our brand, we thought it was a perfect time to better align our French name to our English name.
