{"id":124180,"date":"2022-03-01T09:19:33","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T09:19:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/?post_type=news&#038;p=124180"},"modified":"2022-03-01T12:55:36","modified_gmt":"2022-03-01T12:55:36","slug":"ccc-2022-is-going-hybrid-time-to-submit-your-work","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/ccs.ca\/news\/ccc-2022-is-going-hybrid-time-to-submit-your-work\/","title":{"rendered":"CCC 2022 is Going Hybrid \u2013 Time to Submit Your Work!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>With the launch of the Call for Science, we are excited to share the news that the 2022 Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC 2022) will be a hybrid event, from <strong>Thursday, October 27 to Sunday, October 30<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Wondering What a Hybrid Format Means?<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CCC 2022 will be the best of both worlds, where ALL delegates feel welcome and connected no matter how they choose to attend: in person at the Ottawa Shaw Centre or digitally through the online platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CCC 2022 planning committees are hard at work designing a program that includes the latest scientific content with a broad appeal, and opportunities to finally come together face-to-face and engage in REAL-TIME with colleagues from across Canada and around the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please note the following key dates related to the scientific program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>February 24<\/strong>: The Call for Science launches for abstracts, workshops and affiliate spotlights. Begin your submission <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.abstractscorecard.com\/cfp\/submit\/loginSSO.asp?EventKey=QNMFREIE\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong>;<\/li><li><strong>April 5<\/strong>: Call for workshop and spotlight submissions closes at noon EDT;<\/li><li><strong>May 3<\/strong>: Call for abstract submissions closes at noon EDT; and<\/li><li><strong>Summer<\/strong>: Registration opens. Stay tuned!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>New for 2022<\/strong>: The CCC is piloting a new submission category called Encore Abstracts. These are re-submissions of a previously published original abstract with minor changes in line with CCC Guidelines. Submissions will be peer-reviewed and successful abstracts will be included in the CCC 2022 program to complement other educational elements.
