As we approach the season of giving, we want to take a moment to express our gratitude for your ongoing support and dedication to advancing cardiovascular care in Canada. This Giving Tuesday, we invite you to make a meaningful contribution to the Canadian Cardiovascular Society Academy (CCSA) and support the next generation of cardiovascular professionals.
Your generosity plays a crucial role in enabling the CCSA to continue its mission of promoting excellence in cardiovascular health through education, research, scholarships, and bursaries. We encourage you to read the annual CCSA Year in Review to see the impact your donations have made for CCS Trainees in 2023. Your commitment has fueled important initiatives like the Trainee Review Programs, and your continued support is vital as we look forward to even more programming in the coming year. Hear about the direct impact of your donations from Daniel Araujo, a CCS trainee and 2023 Have a Heart bursary recipient.
Speaking of the new year, we are proud to welcome the CCSA’s new President, Dr. Martin Gardner. “As the new CCSA President, I’m excited about the valuable programs the CCSA has to offer, but see the need to increase donations this year to continue to support the important programs the CCSA funds for early career members.” stated Dr. Gardner. “I’ve met with division heads and suggested a minimum donation of $500.00 from all CCS members.” Dr. Gardner’s leadership promises an exciting chapter for the CCS Academy.
We would like to remind you that until December 31, CCSA Past President Dr. NM (Nisar) Huq has generously offered to match all CCSA donations up to a total of $6,000. This is a fantastic opportunity to double the impact of your contribution and make a significant difference in advancing cardiovascular health in Canada.
Donate today and join us in building a healthier future for all.
Thank you for your ongoing support and generosity.
