This is the fourth consecutive year that the Standing Committee on Finance (FINA) has recommended that the CCS receive $2.5 million per year for three years ($7.5 million total) to sustain and expand national reporting on cardiovascular care quality in its 2021 pre-budget report (Recommendation #8).
This among other demonstrations of support serves to support the CCS as we navigate conversations with key decision-makers leading up to the release of the 2021 federal Budget. We expect that the budget will be released in March or April.
