It’s official! We now have a new French name!
Why you ask? Our name in English – Canadian Cardiovascular Society – refers to the broad ‘cardiovascular community.’ However, in French, it refers to the more specific area of cardiology – Société canadienne de cardiologie. As we celebrated our 75 anniversary and refreshed our brand, we thought it was a perfect time to better align our French name to our English name. Our new French name is now La Société cardiovasculaire du Canada.

Thanks to Dr. Ruel, CCS Past President for championing this important change which you will see reflected in our communications gradually over time.
