The CCS is comprised of members with a vast range of skills, experience, interests, and diverse backgrounds. Our members are passionate, and they have plenty of heart!
For the Society to reach its full potential, we need our Members’ talent and insight on all CCS standing committees.
CCS Standing Committees with open positions for November 2026 include:
- Guidelines Committee
- Membership Committee
- Continuing Professional Development Committee
- Advocacy Committee
- Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Committee (EDI)
We welcome applications from cardiovascular trainees and early career members for each committee.
Committee roles are open to all CCS Members in good standing. Both self-nominations and nominations from colleagues are accepted.
The call for applications will close on March 10, 2026
Please note: Participating on a CCS committee is eligible for credit in the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) Program under MOC Section 3: Feedback and Improvement for System Improvement. Chairs may claim up to 15 credits per year, per committee and members may claim up to 10 credits per year, per committee.
