2026 CCS Recognition Awards Nominations

The CCS is proud to recognize members who have made outstanding contributions to the field of cardiovascular health and care. The 2026 CCS Recognition Awards serve as a unique opportunity for the Canadian cardiovascular community to celebrate career achievements and inspire others to do great things.

We invite you to nominate deserving individuals from across the CCS community who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and exceptional performance in their work for a Recognition Award. 

The CCS Recognition Awards recipients will be acknowledged during CCC 2026 in Ottawa.

• Distinguished Teacher/Mentor Award
• Dr. Harold N. Segall Award of Merit
• Research Achievement Award – Basic and Translational Science
• Research Achievement Award – Clinical Science
• CCS Women in Cardiovascular Medicine/Science Mentorship Award
• Exemplary Leadership in Clinical Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery Award
• Trainee Excellence in Education Award
