MYCOVACC 2022-2026 Governance Structure

The MYCOVACC 2022-2026 governance structure aimeds to facilitate the participation and collaboration of CCS members, CCS Affiliate societies, investigators, and patients in study activities. 

Steering Committee 

The MYCOVACC Steering Committee provides direction, guidance, and decision-making about study activities. Specifically, the Committee: guided implementation, operations, and funding; and ensured key study deliverables are achieved. The committee was chaired by Dr. Nathaniel Hawkins. It included CCS members as well as representatives from key partner networks and the Public Health Agency of Canada. 

Scientific and Data Management Committee   

The MYCOVACC Scientific and Data Management Committee ensured high-quality data, and ethical data collection, storage, and use. The Committee reviewed and made recommendations to the Steering Committee about all protocols, publications, and reports. The Committee was chaired by Dr. James White and included CCS members as well as experts from across the scientific community with experience in public health, scientific methodology and data management.   

Integrated Knowledge Translation Committee   

The MYCOVACC Integrated Knowledge Translation (IKT) Committee developed and supported knowledge translation strategies and activities. The IKT Committee ensured MYCOVACC knowledge products meet the needs of the project’s key stakeholder groups. The Committee was chaired by Dr. Michael McDonald and included CCS members as well as representatives from across the fields of science and medicine with expertise and experience in knowledge translation and communications. The Committee also consulted with patient advisors.
