Become a member of the CCS and an Affiliate Society
CCS members form a national community of cardiovascular professionals driven to deliver the best cardiovascular care and improve heart health. Members also get access to benefits and resources that advance individual careers and accomplish the CCS vision of strong heart teams in a heart healthy Canada. They can also join one or more of our 14 Affiliate Societies who comprise the One Heart Team, which brings together the cardiovascular team to tackle shared priorities that advance our mission of heart health for all.

Do you want to be part of a hard-working team and organization that makes a difference to the cardiovascular health of Canadians? Working for the CCS might be for you! We are based in Ottawa, ON with a hybrid work environment. Applications from remote/work from home candidates are welcome. Our typical work week is 35 hours, but some weekend work and travel may be required, depending on the position. We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

There is an annual call for applications for open positions on the CCS Board of Directors and Standing Committees, which generally takes place in the spring. Propose or accredit a CPD activity
As a long-standing recognized accredited provider for the Royal College, the CCS develops and accredits numerous educational activities each year. The CCS ensures that these educational activities align with the Royal College’s “National Standard of Support for CPD Activities” and the Canadian Medical Association’s “Guidelines for Physicians in Interactions with Industry”.
