CCS Guidelines Development Process

The CCS has developed specific policies and procedures to ensure that our guidelines are high quality and transparent. Guideline development is overseen by the CCS Guidelines Committee and guideline topic development is undertaken by a multidisciplinary panel of topic experts. CCS follows the AGREE II Instrument as an overarching methodology and has adopted the GRADE Scale for rating the strength of recommendations and the quality of evidence.
