Best Abstract Award: 

The CSVM Best Abstract Award was established in 2024 to recognize excellence in vascular medicine research.  

A call will go out annually to all CSVM members adhering to the CCS Call for Science deadline for abstract submissions. 

Eligibility Criteria: 

1. Abstract submitted to the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC) in the field of vascular medicine and 

2. Clinical or basic science. 

Regulations: 

If the abstract is submitted from an Awards Committee Members’ institution, or if an Awards Committee Member is identified as co-author of the abstract, a CSVM member will be selected to serve on the Awards Committee.   

Award Prize: 

The winner will receive a $500 cash award, as well as an honorary certificate. The award will be presented at the CCC at the CSVM Spotlight Session.
