The CSCS Mission is to promote and represent the specialty of cardiac surgery including but not exclusive to research, education, and sound clinical practice.

The CSCS strives to be responsive to its members needs. In addition to the educational activities it sponsors and develops, it has partnered to assess workforce issues hoping to project surgeon shortages in the future to help plan for our specialty’s growth. We are playing a role in the development of training programs to help the field adapt to new technologies and embrace new techniques.

The CSCS is a partner in the Canadian Cardiovascular Congress (CCC) which is scheduled for October 23-27th, 2010 in Montréal. The Preliminary Program and Registration information is now available at www.cardiocongress.org.
