Canadian Journal of Cardiology

The Canadian Journal of Cardiology (CJC) is an official journal of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS). It is a vehicle for the international dissemination of new knowledge in cardiology and cardiovascular science, particularly serving as the major publication venue for Canadian cardiovascular medicine.  

CCS members are entitled to a free electronic subscription to the CJC. This includes access to full-text articles published from 2006 to present on www.onlinecjc.ca. Members also have the exclusive option to opt-in to receive printed copies of the CJC for $75 + tax CAD annually. For access to articles published before 2006, please email cjc@ccs.ca with the article title, volume number, and page numbers.

How to claim your CJC subscription

  1. Register

    Go to www.onlinecjc.ca

    Click Register in the banner at the top right of the screen
    • If you have previously registered, click Sign In
    • If you are not registered, complete the account registration form

  2. Claim Online Access

    Click Claim in the banner on the top right of the screen
    • Check the box “I receive my subscription through a society membership”
    • Enter your CJC Subscription Number* and Last Name
    • Click Activate Claim

* Your subscription reference number will be emailed to you from Elsevier. If you are unable to locate this number, please contact membership@ccs.ca.
